In Home Services

Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of your home can become more challenging with physical restrictions occurring with age or disability. While it is helpful to maintain as much independence as possible, there comes a time where assistance is required. Our in-home services are delivered within a model of support that focuses on reablement, maintaining independence and promoting wellness. All our services are offered based upon your needs and requirements.

There are many ways to access domestic assistance and similar programs. Referrals are usually made by a relative, carer, friend, general practitioner, or another recognised service. In some selective cases, you may also refer yourself. Part of the process is that you will need to be assessed for eligibility by a WA Regional Assessment Agency. Domestic Assistance

While it is important to maintain as much independence as possible, there comes a time where assistance may be required. Depending on your needs or specific difficulties, our support workers can assist you with daily living activities, such as:

  • Cooking and dish washing;

  • Vacuuming, mopping and dusting;

  • Lawn mowing and gardening;

  • Cleaning wet areas;

  • Ironing and Laundry; and

  • Remaking of beds.

We understand that your circumstances may change over time, in which case we are always willing to adjust your services to suit your changing situation.

Meal Support

Our support workers are able to offer assistance with Meal Preparation for people who find that they are having difficulty with aspects of cooking but still like the independence to be able to prepare their own meals.

This service will be different for everyone so a personal assessment will need to be completed before the service commences.
